JOHNNY PEARSON

Johnny has an unrivaled reputation as an outstanding pianist, composer and music director spanning both classical and popular music.
He has been accompanist and music director for artists such as Cilla Black, Lena Horn, Shirley Bassey and Vanessa Lee.
As director of the BBC's Top of the Pops Orchestra for sixteen years he accompanied artists as varied as Bing Crosby, The Beatles and Michael Jackson.
He was music director for television programmes featuring The Carpenters, Glen Campbell, Peter Paul and Mary, Neil Sedaka, Joseph Feliciano, Paul Williams and many more.
Johnny has written many signature tunes for television such as Owen M.D. (which became the worldwide hit, Sleepy Shores), All Creatures Great and Small and ITN's News at Ten.
He has also written a vast amount of background music for films and televison and has written exclusively for KPM for many years.
