West Nile
The West Nile, a disease that is found mainly in the Ontario area and is passed through misquito's,
is a deadly disease. Although it is found mainly in Ontario, it has also traveled west through all the provinces
excluding Vancouver (of which it has been found just south of the border).
Although it doesn't spread as easily as SARS, it is, if not more, just as deadly as SARS.
This is not the misquito season so we are not in much danger from this virus but when it is summer, we must beware.
Here are some tips on how to stay safe during summer:
Don't go to to many campouts
Stay out of wilderness
Don't be outside any later than 8:00 at night.
Please stay safe, the death of a club member or his/her friends would affect us deeply.
