The Life of a Slayer By: Sophie Lavalier Chapter 7 Party!!! When they were back on the Vione, Dilandau had them line up and kneel to him. “Dallet!! Chesta!! Come here!!” Dilandau ordered menacingly. “Yes sir!” They said in unison, quickly forming up infront of him. “ You had stealth cloaks!! I don’t tolerate incompetents in my ranks!!!!!!” Dilandau screamed slapping them both on the side of the head, knocking them to the floor. “Forgive us Sir,” they pleaded, immediately shifting into a bowing position. “Hmpf” Dilandau huffed, “ remember this” he sneered then dismissed them for the night. Sophie looked up at Dallet and Chesta, who were pulling themselves to their feet, holding their cheeks. “God!! That smarts!!” Dallet whined walking over to the rest of them. “ It wasn’t my fault” Chesta grunted, “The button was jammed!” Sophie looked at Migel, then back at the others. “Well, we still completed our mission, why don’t we shower up and have a party!” Dallet looked at her and grinned, “ Great idea!!! Come on!! Lets hit those showers!!” He yelled and ran off down the hall. Immediately Gattie, Chesta, Gattie, Migel, and Guimel followed. “Hey wait!!” She shouted after them!!, “I need a shower to myself remember!!” Guimel stopped and turned around, “Awwhh, we hoped you’d be joining us!!” “In your wildest fantasies Guimel” Migel said knocking him on the head. “We’ll leave ours open alright?” “Okay” She replied jogging after them. An hour later Sophie emerged from the shower, in a purple silk nightgown. To find that all the boys were already out, and collapsed lazily about her room. But they all perked up after she walked in. “ Hey Sophie, you look great!” Guimel said dumbly sitting up. “ Oh knock it off you horny bastard!” Dallet said elbowing him hard in the ribs. Chesta snickered and looked at her, “ What took you so long?” “ I was washing my hair, and letting loose” She replied sitting down beside Migel, who was on her bed. “Any way why aren’t you guys doing anything, run out of ideas already?” “Looks that way” Gattie yawned leaning against the back of the couch. “We can’t think of anything to do” Dallet sighed collapsing on the bed again. “Hmmm….” Sophie moaned looking around the room for ideas. Looking over towards there in room kitchen, she noticed an empty wine bottle, sitting on the counter. “I know!” She exclaimed, jumping up and running over to the counter and picking up the bottle. A large grin spread across her face. “Huh?” All the slayers said watching her curiously as she sat down on the floor and placed the bottle infront of her. She looked up and noticed their dumb expressions. “Come on, get in a circle around the bottle.” Shrugging the slayers got up and sat down in a circle. “Okay, were going to play spin the bottle, here’s the way it goes, starting at a person, say…. Dallet, he would spin the bottle and wait for it to stop. Whoever it stops on, he has to kiss on the lips, guy or girl. Them it would be Guimels turn, and so on, got it?” For a moment the slayers just starred at her with blank looks, but then all at once grabbed for the bottle shouting it’s my turn!! Sophie giggled, um let’s just start with Dallet, like I said. “ Yah!! Dallet exclaimed childishly spinning the bottle. When it came to a stop, the end pointed to Chesta, who went pale and pulled away. Dallet, willing to follow the games rules, leapt across the circle and planted a kiss on Chesta’s lips. “HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!” Everyone laughed, at the look of utter horror, a Chesta’s normally sweet face. Then Guimel quickly snatched the bottle and spun it, this time it landed on Gattie. Who just closed his eyes and twisted his mouth in disgust, when Guimel kissed him. Next, it was Sophie’s turn, at which all the slayers, except Migel, leaned in anxiously, watching the bottle spin with anticipation. As the bottle slowed, it came to a halt on Migel, who smiled and blushed. Sophie did to, and she leaned forward, and so did he. Migel put his mouth to her ear and whispered, “ I’ve dreamed of this moment” before locking her in a passionate kiss. It seamed to last an eternity, which she hoped would, Migel moved closer to her and placed his hand gentle on the back of her head. And it would have lasted quite awhile if Dilandau hadn’t come in. Sophie pulled quickly away, and Migel moved back. Dilandau starred, probably telling himself he didn’t se what he thought he saw, but then his face-hardened. “The dragon escaped, we must scope him out, tomorrow, we will be visiting the Knights outpost on the edge of Asturia, be ready.” Dilandau sneered, then left. The slayers all starred at Sophie and Migel, who were both blushing deep shades of red. “Sophie, did you know it was going to be Migel” Chesta inquired curiously. “No of course not, I have no reason to cheat. I didn’t care who I kissed.” She replied stubbornly. “Well then how about you give us all one?” Guimel asked hopingly. “ Yes alright” She sighed going around and kissing each of them on the cheek. “There feel better” Everyone nodded dumbly, holding their cheeks. And Sophie took this period of shock as cover to slip Migel a wink. Sophie and the rest of them continued to play different games until late at night, when everyone went back to their rooms. Sophie who was already in her nightgown, walked over to the large bay window and gazed out at the stars. “Aren’t they so beautiful Migel….” She said in awe looking at him briskly, before returning her gaze to the stars. Migel walked up beside her, and placed his arm around her shoulders, hugging her to his side. “Nothing’s more beautiful then you Sophie….” He whispered softly in her ear. She looked up and looked into his dark blue eyes. “ Migel….” “Shhhhh…” he motioned touching her lips with one finger before leaning in for a kiss. This one lasted longer then the last, and was far more passionate. Sophie turned, and he rapped his arms around her. Slowly, they pulled away from each other, and Sophie savored his taste. “Goodnight Sophie……..” He said smiling, before walking over to his bed and lying down. “Goodnight Migel……” she whispered standing transfixed, before she retired for the night.
