Subject: Back to Gaea Chapter 3!


Sorry if it's a bit congusing, hopefully you'll get something clear 
from this chapters. Trust me, it gets even messier, and I think 
you're sorta gonna hate me when you see how much. Don't worry, all 
will fit at the proper time. Just have a little patience with me.

Chapter 3

-"Var, wake up! Wake up!''
The girl opened her eyes. She was lying in some sort of bed, her 
friends looking nervously at her.
-"What� happened?''
-"We don't know. We awoke in this field� and you can see
Earth� and 
wolfpeople�''
-"Kiri, calm down! She won't be able to understand you if you
can't 
even make one coherent sentence!''
-"But�''
-"No buts, let her see it by herself.''
Ranma scooped her into his arms and walked towards the window. And 
then she saw it, the Earth and the Moon, hanging together in the 
night sky. Var turned to look at him in awe. His black eyes looked 
like mirrors under the soft glow. Var's cheeks turned bright
crimson. 
He smiled, and let her go, just as the door to the room was opened. 
In walked two men and a woman. Correct that, a cat-woman. The teens 
gaped at her. 
-"What? You look as if you had never seen an animal-person
before.''
-"Well, actually�''
Var was staring at the visitors. The cat-woman had blue eyes and 
long, pink hair. She looked to be in her 30's, as did her
companions. 
One of the men was tall, blond and blue-eyed. The other was a bit 
shorter, with black, unruly hair and reddish-brown eyes. Something in 
this guy was familiar, as if she had already met him.
-"I see you're better. Be welcome to the Kingdom of
Fanelia.''
He was smiling at her. All she could do to hide her blush was bow.
-"Thank you for helping us� hmm�''
-"My name is Van. Van Fanel. My companion here is Allen Schezar,
a 
knight from the neighboring kingdom of Asturia and this is my best 
friend, Merle.''
-"Very pleased to meet you Van-san, Allen-san and
Merle-san.''
-"Well, at least this girl isn't as hysterical as her friend
over 
there.''
-"Merle!''
Van couldn't help a smile. It soon disappeared, as her turned to
look 
back at Var. Actually, he winced, as if he had been stabbed.
-"I'm sorry,'' he said cautiously, "But I believe
that we don't know 
your name.''
-"My name's Var, Ramie Var.''
Now, the 3 strangers winced. They looked at each other, but spoke 
nothing.
-"Is something wrong?''
-"No, it's just that you look awfully like someone we used to
know. 
She was from the Phantom Moon also, so�'' 
Merle shrugged. Van was still staring at her, but in his eyes there 
was something different from in the others. He seemed to know 
something the others didn't. But it was only there for a second. 
Perhaps she had imagined it.
