Allen's voice resounded on the enormous room's walls. It was late in the morning, and there were no signs of Van. By these moments the Fanelian troops had orders to be alert, while many squads were sent in an exhaustive search. Allen and Merle knew they were just wasting their time, but both of them had different reasons. I need to know if that man, Yolza is somebody we can really trust. Of course he is! Sir Yolza is a good man. It was him who make the reunion of the survivors possible, when they were obliged to escape to the mountains, even when he was seriously wounded he took charge. He was one of the few men who survived, and he is without a doubt, an honorable man. If it is so, I need to talk to him. Sir Allen What Happens? Sir Allen, I know that you may see me just as an animal or a servant but, Sir Allen I can understand if you tell me what is going on, please, trust me There's no one in this place that cares about Lord Van more than I do - Merle's voice was cracking on this plea, that found its way to Allen's heart. That I know for sure - Allen looked at the sweet woman Merle had grown up in, moved by the innocence, ad the love in her words- and you're right, Its better for you to know. Merle - He put his hand on her shoulder, and looking her right in the eye - Fanelia could be in danger, It's just a possibility but Merle felt weak "Fanelia in danger, again" Allen sat her in front of him, and continued Just a few weeks ago, a stranger came to Asturia, making questions about the Ryuujins We didnt say anything about what we know of Atlantis and Van, but, you know Merle, the legend is well known around Gaea y nowadays after the war, the rumors about Van and the girl from the mystic moon Who was this? What was he looking for? We don't know. He said his name was Hess Hess? I know, It's a strange name He is a strange man. I Understand. Do you think this man has anything to do with my lord Van? I Hope I'm wrong. We don't want to drop a false alarm, I just came here to talk of this with Van, to warned him but I didn't expect this I will better go and look for Yolza Merle went looking for Yolza. Her face showed her evident preoccupation, but what only Yolza could understand was the pain that the fear caused her. Sahu was looking at her from a point in the second floor, until she got to where Yolza was, and Yolza perceived that he was there. Sahu looked to another point when he realized that Yolza was looking at him. Yolza laughed to himself. He was surprised of Sahu trying to hide something from him. Sir Yolza, Sir Allen something very important to tell you It's true, I was on my way to see him. Come with me - Sahu wasn't there anymore when he tried to find him. Yolza trusted him, because Sahu had been left alone, an orphan during the war. He was a restless commoner, and he had learned to fight just because the circumstances were so. He needed to defend himself in loneliness. If the circumstances had been different, he would have been happy as a farmer, never a soldier, but he was one now, and had to learn to act like one. Allen by then was thinking about Valgus. Fanelia had been his and he had died protecting this land and his king, Van. Valgus was master for the both It was curious to think how similar were their lives: Death father, sibling disappeared, mother death after that, and the return of the lost sibling both were in Zaibach Celena was safe on Paras, under the protection of Princes Eries Celena was a beautiful woman now, but her case was fragile. It wasn't usual to him to left her alone, but he was in Fanelia and knew very well that the king didnt welcome her If Van had forgiven Folken just when he was dead, forgive her was even more difficult. Van knew it wasn't Celena's fault at all, he knew that she was even a victim but he couldn't forget that easy. And now that she had left Dilandu on the past Her condition wasn't what Allen would want: she used to wake up at night, and trying hard not to make a sound she didn't sleep, to avoid the nightmares; She had believed that Allen didn't know anything of her nightmares. She was a totally innocent child; she just wanted to please Allen and whoever was around her She was absolutely the contrary to what once she had been obligated to be. What is that so important you want to tell me? - Yolza interrupted Allen Schezar's divagation She couldn't understand what was going on. Something wasn't right, that was obvious. This feeling oppressed her soul. It was hot, but north breeze was fresh. In other circumstances she would be in the garden, looking up the night and enjoying the weather, but not this night, when a part of she was lost. It was like standing in a stick, with nothing to hold, waiting to fall in any move and there was not Van, to save her this time. She did not care for herself, but for him She felt powerless and that was not something she was used to. "Hitomi, you have to calm down and think If you continue this way, you're just wasting energy" She tried to tranquilize herself "No. It can't be about Atlantis no. Who? I did not write a thing about Atlantis to avoid something like this but" she had the note of the paper in her hands " What does this mean why is somebody suddenly searching? Why there and not in the Atlantic?" She couldn't find any answers. She felt the necessity of going outside, so left her bedroom and went downstairs quietly. She found nothing in the garden, but old memories from her childhood. "It was all so different then, when my grandma lived" she sat in the entrance steps with her head resting on her hands " I remember when grandma used to comfort me at night, when I couldn't sleep." Hitomi, you shouldn't be afraid because Can I tell you a secret? At this memory Hitomi felt a shake, now she realized what her grandmother really wanted to say Can you keep a secret Hitomi? You shouldn't be afraid, because angels exist. Her eyes were now fixed on the horizon; the impotence feeling had vanished, to make place to determination and courage She had the feeling that destiny had a difficult task waiting for them, but this time, she was prepared to confront destiny. The sun was rising. She had taken a decision.
