Oh one more thing anything in italics indicates thought I haven't seen all of Escaflowne so bear with me but I've read alot of episode sypnosises and I may or may not be taking some liberties with the plot/storyline of the orginal Escaflowne. This isn't Novel grade material and it's short (really short) so bear with me I'm just a middle school wannabe author eating pocky mmmmm...pocky...

Hitomi landed semi gracefully in front of Yukari and Amano's new home. Hitomi had to knock on the door quite a few times before Yukari finally answered balancing Merle on her hip.
"Hi Hitomi, nice to see you!" exclaimed Yukari as she shifted Merle into a more confortable position
"Hi Yukari" replied Hitomi as she admired Merle
"Is there a particular reason you're here now Hitomi you usually visit on the weekend" asked Yukari
"I wanted to see a doctor, I haven't been feeling well lately" replied Hitomi shifting her duffel bag
"Oh, okay you can crash here for the time being" Yukari then decided to ask another question "Um Hitomi what's with the duffel bag?"
"A dress to put on before I go back to Fanelia, the skirt and blouse didn't fly well last time" replied Hitomi grining
"Oh...that oufit" replied Yukari adopting Hitomi's grin
"Um can I come in now this dress in heavy believe it or not" said Hitomi
"Sure come in I'll make the appointment after I put Merle down for her afternoon nap" Said Yukari as she walked back into the house
After following Yukari into the house Hitomi waited for her to finish putting the baby to sleep and call her doctor. About ten minutes later Yukari finally emerged from the kitchen after making the call.
"Hitomi, the doctor said he could get you in today"
"Thanks Yukari, hey are you planning to take a vacation soon?" asked Hitomi
"Yeah Amano and I were thinking Fanelia for a week or so in November" replied Yukari
"That would be nice" looking thoughtful for a moment a sly grin formed on Hitomi's lips "Hey Yukari if you stay for a week you're gonna have to wear a court dress"
"I have to wear a what!?!" exclaimed Yukari
"A court dress here I'll show you" at this Hitomi unzipped her duffel bag and held up the heavy elaborate dress so Yukari could see
"Are you sure that isn't a tent or something" asked Yukari
"It's a dress, hey when's the appointment?"
"Ummm..3:00 why?"
"It's 2:30"
"C'mon then let's go!" said Yukari as she picked up Merle and dragged Hitomi to the car

"Hitomi! Hitomi where are you" yelled Van as he walked into their room, finding it empty he went over to the bed to sit down he wanted to ask Hitomi what she thought about some political matters. Seeing a piece of paper on the night stand Van went over to investigate. Picking up the note Van read it to himself Dear Van went to visit Yukari be back soon love Hitomi. So that's where she is! Van sighed well if she's there maybe I'll just go over there too. Pulling out his pendant Van wished Himself to where ever Hitomi was.

Hitomi and Yukari sat in the waiting room at the doctors office while they waited for her to finish with her last patient
"Mrs. Fanel" asked the nurse
"Yes?"
"The doctor will see you now"
"Thank you"
Hitomi left Yukari in the waiting room while the doctor preformed the checkup.
"Mrs. Fanel I have some big news for you"
"Yes wha-" Hitomi's thoughts were cut off as Van appeared
"VAN!! What are you doing here!" yelled Hitomi
"Umm..I.."
"Out now till I'm done!" replied Hitomi pointing toward the door but before Van could leave the doctor stopped him
"Are you her husband?" as Dr. Jones
"Yes I am"
"Well stay then this concerns you, as I was saying Mrs. Fanel congratulations you're pregnant" Dr. Jones whose jaw was already at ground level dropped even futher, first Van's erm..appearance was even more shocked when both Hitomi and Van sprouted wings "What's going on here first he appears then wings!"
"Umm it's a long story...bye thank you!" replied Hitomi trying to fingure out whta to do with her wings
"Hitomi since when did you have wings?" asked Van
"To tell you the truth this is the first time I've had them, um how do you put them back?"
"Let's talk about that later, let's just go home now"
"Not yet Yukari is here"
Reluctantly Van followed Hitomi back out into the waiting room fortunatly Hitomi had figured out how to at least fold her new found wings
"Umm Hitomi why do you have wings" asked Yukari holding Merle
"Let's just go to Fanelia now"
"Okay let me get Merle in a more secure hold"
As soon as Yukari and Merle were set Van and Hitomi took out their pendants and wished the group to the palace. Dr.Jones on the other side decided to take the rest of the day assuming the rubbing alchol fumes were getting to her, really winged people impossible; right?

Sitting on the bed in Her and Van's chambers Hitomi took a deep breath and began to explain.
"Well maybe my grandmother was a Draconian' said Hitomi
"What about that time you fell?" asked Van
"I just don't know Van it was a theory, um are you going to teach me how to use these or not?" said Hitomi pointing to the wings on her back
"Sure lets go outside"
"Why don't you visit Merle and Ryo for a bit we'll be a while"
"Sure Hitomi see you all later!"
"Shall we get started"
"Lets"

Van and Hitomi were laughing as Hitomi started to get the hang of using her wings to fly, too busy with each other neither noticed the pair of eyes watching them.
That's all I know it suck but if enough people want and give me ideas this could turn into another series or we could forget I ever wrote this! Right now I'm patiently waiting for the boxset of Escaflowne I ordered to be delivered via UPS *looks out the window* UPS TRUCK! *runs out to ambush the UPS man to see if she got a certin package* Hey umm... can I join ya in the padded room they're fun to play in.
