History of the Band
Back in mid-November of 2003, 3 of the current band members decided to make an attempt to add their musical skills together, and create unique music, hoping to be a success. Danny, Kevin, and Max chose to call the band Admonition, meaning warning or danger. They were desperate of having a full, complete band, so they picked Jesse Vermett to be their bassist. The band got no where. In fact, they didn't even have one practice. The farthest it got, was to the point where Danny, Max, and Jesse, were in the basement screwing around with a song called Grade A. You see, back then things weren't the same. Shocking as it may seem, Max was the vocalist. Soon they realized how much their song sucked, and Max realized how much he did not want to sing. They decided to put the band aside for a while, and focus on some other things.

Later on, in January of 2004, everyone started talking about getting back together. The new band, consisted of Danny and Max on guitar, Kevin on drums, and Jesse on bass, only to be for a short period of time. The fun people they like to be, Danny and Max were kidding around calling Jesse bi. He took the prank a little to seriously and quit the band. The band was left without a bassist, and a vocalist.

Then came February, the month of success. Without Jesse for bass, the band asked Brooke if she was willing to do it...she agreed. Everyone started practicing and making songs of their own. Once they were ready, they brought in Ari for the vocals. The band did have many other choices for vocals, but decided Ari was the best choice in this type of situation, altough it did require some conflicts. And there it was, a full band, ready to get started. They had the riffs, they had the lyrics, they had the members, and the equipment. But the one thing they did not have, was an agreement on the band's name. Admonition just wouldn't cut it for Brooke and Ari. Kevin wasn't to crazy about it either. On February 19th, the name changed from Admonition, to Morbid Visions. Still the name wasn't satisfying. The very next day, February 20th, the name took it's final change from Morbid Visions, to Eyes Wide Shut.

Now that everything was settled, it was time to practice, with vocals, as a band. As of February 21st, the band has been practicing and working hard. It took them only an hour on their first day of practice to come up with Spinning. Since then, the band has worked on their other songs such as  Broken, Crate, and All's Lost. Crate is an extremely fun song to play.  We know you'll like it, considering it has one kick ass bass intro performed by Brooke. Halo, is an instumental which has been a song for quite a while anyways, that Danny and Kevin decided to use. All's Lost, is a change of direction for the band, a slow and meaningful song about breaking up. The band is going to continue practicing these songs, and making new ones, and will hopefully be putting on a show sometime in the near future. Thank's for supporting us.
