Welcome to the rudimentary version of Changeling's homepage. There's not a lot here yet, but there will be in time.
In the meantime, I, your webmistress Zeks, will enlighten you concerning the Changeling. It's an idea that began forming
in highschool, in fact it was originally going to be a short story project for my Creative Writing class. Now, three
years later, after much revising and character development, as well as research, it is ready to be released to the web in
comic format.
Changeling weaves together both modern and mythological elements. I chose Norse mythology because it is a subject that appeals to me, and is also very easy to modify and mold to the story's needs. This story follows seventeen year-old Zephyr Vanth on a life-changing journey. She discovers that she is no ordinary human (something she has suspected for many years), and her Guardian Xaphan is there every step of the way to aid in the development of her new mythological sensibilities. A secret war is going on between Odin's shapeshifters and the Queen of Niflheim, Hel. I can't give away too much yet, as I have no wish to spoil the story for you. Suffice to say that it's a long road to freedom, and Zephyr holds the keys to unlocking all of the war's secrets, even though she doesn't know it yet.
