My beliefs

The Dance Midi File

First of all I Like Music. I Like all kinds, especially Christian Praise, Contemporary Christian Music.
I like many others also, Blue Grass, Gospel, Country, Pop, Latino,
Andes - Indian pan flute, classical and more.

I Like to be still and compute, study, etc. But I also Like motion and things that move, when younger it was mostly motorcycles, skating, bicycling, and snow skiing. Now it is mosty going on walks and the occasional drive with my wife. I also Like images, and being creative with them by adding to them, morphing etcetera, rarely have time for that.

Kathy and I share a Love for walking, she goes on walks more often than I, but we do enjoy going on walks together on occasion.
Edit: January 2008: Have not been skiing since 2002.
Kathy goes on ski trips with me mostly out of her Love for me, she no longer skis but Loves to travel and Loves the sights.

I find at my age, I don't have time or have the energy to do these things as often as I would like.

I Like people and try to stay close to family and friends, which I cannot find time enough to do.

Kathy's latest exercise craze is swimming, she has been going to an inside swimming pool and swimming laps. This has been going on for the last two weeks. I'll keep you posted if she keeps this up.

Well it's November the 17th 2001 now, Kathy was swimming back in September, and has not been in some time.
She has been keeping her walking up though.
I have been walking/running around 2 or 3 times a week, for the past couple of months or so. I am planning on going snow skiing in December 2001 which is my motivation for trying to get in a little better shape.
I have not done my walk /run this week, as I have a sinus infection or cold, I am much better now. I will try to get back in the exercise groove next week.

Well that was December November 2001, it is September 2002 now and I am not sure if I will go skiing this year.
We are planning on driving and playing our vacation by ear. I will let Kathy decide on where to go, though I may have some input. She has gone on my ski trips with me quite few of them, we have gone on shorter trips that she planned, and the next longer type of trip that we make, it will be up to her where we go.
She likes Louisiana, and Missippi, we will probably head out that way. We went to Kathy's long time friend Ellen's and her husband Jim's house a few months ago. We did enjoyed visiting and meeting with Jim, and seeing Ellen again.
I have only saw her on four occassions, she visited with us for a few hours one day. Other than that I saw her at at funeral, a wedding (ours) and the fourth time on our recent trip. It was nice to get to know her better. Kathy picks nice friends, which fits Kathy as she is so sweet.

We went to south Texas for a couple of nights recently, in May 2002. We hung out near the Dinosaur Valley area and Dublin. Dublin has the oldest Dr. Pepper bottling plant still producing Dr. Peppers, which also houses a Dr. Pepper mueseum. Neat history and a good place to get a tasty 10 oz. Dr. Pepper, they boast still using "Imperial Pure Cane Sugar".
I don't know if it is the 10 oz. (deposit type) bottle, or the Pure Cane sugar that makes these Dr. Peppers so good.
Or is it the History and nostalgia in the air?
Or is it the combination of all of the above combined with the power of suggestion that the Pure Cane sugar acutally makes a differenc?
Of course I have never known a bad Dr. Pepper that used any real sugar, unless it has been opened too long and lost its carbonation.
May 2007 Two day stay at Palo Duro Canyon Texas, the largest Canyon in the US outside of the Grand Canyon, really neat. We did some hiking and pix taking.
December 2007 Two night stay at Jefferson's Excelsior House Hotel to celebrate our 29th Aniverssary.
God's Blessings on anyone of the few people who know about our little piece of web real estate, that may have read these words.
Peace!, ronkat.

I also want to say that the main thing that I like is a personal relationship with "Jesus Christ", the Son of God, the only way to a peaceful life and especially after life.

Thanks for dropping in,
Ron

Bye Now !
