Ron & Kat at The Challenger NASA Boardwalk Park.
I don't know the actual name of the park.
The park was made in honor of the seven astronauts who were killed when the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded in 1986.

We were visiting friends, Ellen and Jim.
Ellen took us to the park for a few minutes while Jim was cooking our breakfast on a Sunday morning in April 2002.
What a deal for us huh?

The astronauts names are:
mission commander Francis "Dick" Scobee, rookie pilot Michael Smith, mission specialists Ronald McNair, Ellison Onizuka and Judy Resnik, and two payload specialists: Gregory Jarvis and Christa McAuliffe.

Christa McAuliffe, from New Hampshire had been selected to become NASAs first "Teacher-In-Space."
