Configuring the Dial Access script for Windows9x
1. Double click on My Computer.
2. Double click on the Dial-up Networking Icon.
3. The Dial-up Networking window opens. Double click on Make a new connection.
The new connection wizard will start.
4. Name the computer being dialed "BB" Dial Access. Select the modem being
used to dial the connection
(some customers may have a built-in modem and a PCMCIA card in their laptop).
Click next. Enter the telephone number being dialed.
Be sure the correct area code is selected.
Windows may default to the customer’s home area code.
Click next and then finish. The new connection will now appear in the Dialup Networking window.
5. Right click on the Dial Access connection that was just created and select Properties from the drop down menu. The properties dialogue box will be displayed.
6) Click on the "scripting tab".
7) Click the Browse button and browse to the C:\BBDialup folder and double click.
Select the file BBdialup.scp and click open.
The Dial Access script will now be displayed in the File name field.
8. Click OK and the dial-up connection will be configured.
9. Right click on the Dial Access icon and select the Send To option from the drop down menu. Select Desktop (create shortcut). There now will be an icon on the desktop for Dial Access.
