Announcing an Exciting First E.Y.E.S Project
A new way to teach and learn that transcends time zones and national barriers.
Advance in telecommunication technology has allowed for a live interactive distance learning experience. It is now possible to recreate an intimate classroom setting despite great distance between the teacher and students.
We are fortunate that Dr. Robert Folberg, a professor and world renowed opththalmic pathologist, has agreed to use this technology to conduct a teaching session from Chicago to Bangkok. This gives the Thai ophthalmology residents a rare and precious opportunity to learn directly from an expert who wrote chapters in several textbooks and created a seminal CD-ROM for Pathology of the Eyes. We hope to develop and expand this initiative into a complete course in ophthalmic pathology.
