| Blessed Be Thy Name- Arizona band with rabid live shows. Eddie's vocals are awesome. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Fall of Empyrean- A great Arizona Doom band. Very emotional. Eyes of Athena are HUGE fans of Fall of Empyrean, and consider them to be one of the greatest metal bands in existence. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Grave Flowers- A Gothic Doom Metal band from Sweden that is the side project of Matte Anderson of Godgory. Simply fucking phenominal, both musically & lyrically. Their song Lackrosy is considered by Michael & Drew of EOA to be the embodyment of the genre of Doom Metal. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| ISIS- Amazing, atmospheric Music that really cannot be stuck in any one genre. Call it Doom, call it "math metal" call it hardcore. Whatever label you wish to define ISIS as, they are for sure one thing: FUCKING AWESOME!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Katatonia- Not so much Doom Metal anymore, but still a great band, and a HUGE influence on Eyes of Athena. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Malebolgia- A pretty cool grind band from North Carolina. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Living Fields- Awe inspiring Doom metal band with political lyrics. Heavy, complicated and extremely layered, The Living Fields will have you frozen where you stand when you hear them. Worth checking out, even if you aren't into Doom. The Living Fields is a breath of fresh air for metal, and truly unique. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
