Reviews
Here is where I (as in me, the webmistress) will review any TV specials or concerts involving the Goos that I see, as well as album reviews.

Albums:
GUTTERFLOWER:
*****/*****
The new album released on April 9th 2002 was unbelievable...my anticipation for this album was eating me up...I
even had the date of its release marked on my calender.  Once I finally got around to going to the stores about a week after its release, I eagerly listened to the CD...twice.  It is a remarkable album and Goo is back and bringing a new sound with them...possibly a better one, but who can beat the charm from good ol'  "Broadway" or "Iris" or even "Name?"
When I heard most of the tracks on this album, I could already distinguish which ones would be hits.  "Here Is Gone" was an obvious one, and along with it include "Big Machine", "What A Scene", and "Tucked Away."  My personal favorite track on this album was "Sympathy."  It's a great tune to listen to when you're feeling a bit down.  Overall the album ROCKED!  JOHNNY AND GOO FOREVER!

Concerts:
June 9th 2002 --
Considering the fact that I'm a Goo fanatic that has been listening to these guys stuff for about four years now, I still had never seen them live.  I was looking forward to seeing these guys perform ever since I bought Dizzy Up The Girl after I found out they were going on a three year break.  I immediately jumped at the chance when I heard they were performing nearby.
This concert was F A B U L O U S !  I finally got to see Rzeznik LIVE for the first time in my life!  The crowd was really pumped up, people were cat calling whenever Johnny was speaking and everyone when wild with screams, applause, and whistles before and after songs.  Whenever Robby sang you couldn't even HEAR his voice, people were screaming the lyrics with him or screaming with excitement.  Whenever Johnny tossed back his hair the crowd went wild with screams, cat calls, and a few yelling out "I LOVE YOU JOHNNY!"
The group is even better live....just getting to see them perform with flashing lights and actually hearing their music live...the experience is amazing.  I was in shock after the concert, I couldn't quite get it through my head that I had seen this great band playing...LIVE!  I'm definitely going to the next concert they have nearby....I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH GOO!
