| HOTOT & DWARF HOTOT The Hotot rabbit gets its white color, black eye bands, and brown eyes from the combination of two dominant English spot pairs,EnEn, coupled with one dominant and one recessive Dutch pair,Dudu. Also, it has the recessive self-color gene pair, aa. The other color genes have at least one dominant. Hotot genetic makeup is aa B_C_D_E_EnEn Dudu HOTOT Showroom Classification Shown as a 6 class breed Senior Weights Bucks 8 to 10 lbs. 9 lbs. ideal Does 9 to 11 lbs. 10 lbs. ideal General Description A well rounded, thick set, meaty medium length body, with a deep, full and well rounded hindquarter. The top line is to rise slighty from the neck to the hindquarter with side tapering the same. The eye bands a thin, lustrous, deep black band around each eye and are the only marking on the rabbit and should be atleast 1/16 of a inch but not more than 1/8 inch. DWARF HOTOT Classification Shows as a 6 class breed Senior Weights Bucks 2 to 2 1/2 lbs. 2 lbs. ideal Does 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. 2 1/2 lbs. ideal Ears should be 2 1/4in. to 2 1/2. because any thing over 2 3/4 is a DQ and should be well fured with good subsstance. They must carried erect and be slightly rounded at the tips. Body should be short and compact with shoulders as broad as the hips. I look for balance in the body and when I do I look for shoulders that are equal in depth to the hindquarters. The fur is to be soft, dense, and fine with good luster and a gentle rollback. |

Eye Of The Fancy's lines include Houdini, Bishop, Smoot, Kachina, Warren, Lacky, Tonna, Thomas, Gems, Nettle, Larimer, Mingus, Heckel, and Getitia. All my rabbits are quality purebred and pedigree. I live just off of State Line Road between Arkoma Oklahoma and Fort Smith Arkansas. I have been raisen rabbits for over 20 years. I will deliver most of my rabbits, but for a price. I will drive up to 250 miles to bring them to thier new home. That way I know how much stress is put on them. I have a few Dwarf Hotots and some Hotots too. Prices start as low as $20.oo and go up to as much as $100.oo depending on quality of the rabbit. |
