"The Radio Trip" is a

radio show that must be

heard by all, at least

once. Let me tell you

about my first

experience with "The

Radio Trip" and why I

made this site.

Do you remember the first time you heard "The Radio Trip?"

I certainly do. The first time I heard "The Radio Trip," I was in a friends car driving out of town for the weekend. I remember we were both very hung-over and were supposed to have left the night before. But, we had too much fun and kind of blew off all our plans that night to try to score with some chicks. (That's another whole story!) Anyway, we had the radio on which happened to be tuned to the campus radio station. At first, we weren't paying any attention to the radio as we both tried to recall everything from the night before. I'm not sure what it was exactly that caught our attention, but at one point we both focused on the radio. Then we both phased in and out of reality as we centered in on the sounds going straight to our cloudy heads. Eventually, we drove beyond the radio station's signal. Then we sat there thinking (more like processing) everything we had just listened to. At that point, we snapped out of it and laughed at ourselves as static was blaring out of the speakers. The moment was over, or at least it seemed it was.

The following weekend I tuned into our college radio station and couldn't find the show. That following week was the end of the school year and the station went off the air for the Summer. Over the next 10 months I would occassionally recall that "moment" when we were caught up in listening to some energized mix of sounds and music on the radio. It has become one of my most recalled memories. For some reason it just always stood out in my mind.

Eventually, I thought to search for "Radio Trip" on the web. That's when I discovered "TheRadioTrip.com." Since then I've been one of the biggest fans and want to "spread the word about this fine radio program."
