Discrimination of The People By Josh Cargain As I have been going through life I have realized that this world is full of ignorant people who refuse to accept people because of the color of thier skin or because they dress different. I myself have probably been discriminated more times than i can probably remember. I know what your thinking, why would a white middle class kid get descriminated? well when I was younger and lived in Hawaii I used to called a"howley", which is a slang term for a white person, like negro or other racist terms which i will not mention. I was hated by all the Hawiians just because I was white, I was made fun of and harrased by them. I thought that when I moved to California that maybe it would be different; maybe people here would just accept people for who they are or maybe even feel the same way, but just not mention it aloud. But as I have been living here I have realized that everywhere you go there will always be discrimination and racism. There will always be people who will not accept you or hate because of the color of your skin or part of a group your in or where you live. Lately that has become more evident to me than ever as one of my very own teacher is one of those ignorant people who just won't except people for the way god made them. Every day in this world I stare discrimination right in the eye and I realize that no matter how hardwe may try or how many people we have "educated", there will always be discrimination and racism. So in conclusion the only thing i can really say is that just remember, someday, maybe not today or in a million years maybe there won't be any discrimination. Maybe people will finaly accept you: maybe there is something to look forward to, something to live for, a goal and code to live by. A wise person I know once said " People, People, People" and i finally realize what he means and is trying to explain with just one word.
