While watching the house on Sim Lane through his enchanted telescope, Satan spies Bella Goth approaching the residence.
"That meddling woman! I have to stop her before she accidentally runs into my Gargoyle. Ah, I know just the thing."

Suddenly, to Bella's intense horror, she's surrounded by deadly snakes! Out of her mind with shock and terror, she hightails it out of there.

As part of the start of her new life, Suzy has invited Dr. Freudjung and the judge who freed her from the Institution over for dinner. Still wary, Freudjung politely turned down any food or drink.
"I'm so happy you two could make it over. I know how busy you must be. I hope the food is alright." Suzy was anxious to be the perfect normal hostess."Oh yes," the Judge said. "It's very nice. I know that cooking was part of your therapy while you were...away. I'm glad to think you've learned something as you were getting better." He turned a hard eye to the aloof doctor to his left. "You should try this, Doctor. It really is very good."
She wasn't about to take her life in her hands. "Thank you, no. I'm on a diet."

"Allow me to show you around. Not that it'll take long; it's a rather small yard."
Dr. Freudjung's eye was immediately captured by an alarming landmark. "My goodness, where did all these headstones come from?!""I didn't put them there," Suzy immediately defended herself. "They were here when I moved in!"
Upon closer inspection of the monuments, Dr. Freudjung realizes that Suzy is telling the truth, she doesn't have anything to do with these dead people. "Look at the dates," she said to the others. "They almost all died in 1906."The Judge began to explain. "These poor souls perished in the 1906 fire that swept through Studio City. You'll notice many of the stones have stars on top of them. Those mark the graves of SimVille's own silent movie stars. As you know this house was provided to Suzy by the state. With budgets being as tight as they are, we can't afford anything top of the line. Because of this huge cemetary in the back yard, the state was able to get this house for a song."
Freudjung huddled up to the side of the judge. "Your honor," she spoke quietly, "Considering Suzy's past condition, don't you think it would be detremental to her recovery by having so many dead bodies in her vicinity?""Nonsense," the judge sniffed. "What do you think she's going to do, dig them back up? Only a mad scientist from Europe would do such a thing."

As Cassandra Goth was walking home from old lady Kat's house, she's greeted by a strange sight: a miniature clown with a diabolical smile upon his face.
"Hello, little girl.""H-hello," she said hesitatingly. "Who are you? I haven't seen you around here before."
"My name is Sicko the Clown, here to turn that smile upside down!"Ever the logical one, Cassandra couldn't help but point out, "Shouldn't that be a frown upside down?"
"Now why would anyone want to do that," the tiny clown asked, then laughed. Cassandra couldn't explain it but the sound sent chills down her spine. "Would you like to play with me, Cassandra?"Cassandra knew it was getting late, she knew she needed to be getting home, and her instincts were telling her something was wrong with this scenario. But she was such a lonely little girl, it wasn't often someone of her own age asked her to play.
"Alright," she said, never wondering how Sicko knew her name since she hadn't introduced herself.
