"Daddy! What are you doing here?"
"Is it against the law for a father to come pick up his daughter after soccer practice?"
"But you never pick me up from anywhere."
"You have to understand, dear, that Daddy is a very busy man. But today I made room in my schedule just for you, sweetpea, so we can spend some quality time together."
"Yea! What are we going to do together?"
"We're going to go to the doctor's office! Doesn't that sound like fun?"
"The doctor?!? But I'm not sick."
"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
"What does that mean?"
"It means don't give me any trouble and do what I tell you to do. Now let's get going."

"Hello, Cassandra."
"Hello, Dr. Amore."
"It seems like you were here only yesterday getting your innoculation shots before starting a new semester."
"That's because I was here only yesterday. I don't understand why I had to come back. I'm not sick."
Dr. Amore put his hands on his hips and took on a domineering tone. "Cassandra, do I have to call your father in here?"
"No!"
"Then be good and cooperate with me. All I need is a little bit of your blood."
"Are you going to use a big needle, Dr. Amore?"
"Oh Cassandra, ha, ha, ha. Yes. Yes I am going to use a big needle."

"There now, that wasn't so bad, was it? I know what'll make it all better. A nice cold juice box. You know the way to the kitchen, don't you? Our refrigerator is stocked full of all sorts of flavors. Why don't you go help yourself, okay?"
Sniff "O-okay."

"The results of your test you requested will take 2 to 5 days. Oh, you know my colleague, Dr. Freudjung."

"Yeah, you're the nut doctor."
"Excuse me?!"
"Well, that's what you do, isn't it? See which nutjobs in this town should be hauled off to the SimVille Institutio for the Criminally Insane?"
Dr. Freudjung was rather testy about the way people viewed mental health. "I treat people with a variety of problems who, with my help, will be able to rejoin society as a healthy individual."
"Whatever. You'll never see me in your office."
"Don't be so sure of it," she muttered.
"What was that, doctor?"
"I said I hope you enjoyed your visit."
"I'll know that within 2 to 5 days. I'm going to go find my -- Cassandra and take her home. I'll expect to hear something from you, Dr. Amore."

"Dr. Amore, I'm sorry I barged in on you while you were with a client."

"He was ready to leave anyway. What can I do for you?"
"I wanted to talk to about ... our other colleague."
"Dr. Frankenstein? What about him?"
"Well, frankly, he gives me the creeps."
"Dr. Freudjung, I'm shocked!"
"I'm just being honest. There's something about him that just doesn't sit right. I always tell my patients to trust their gut instincts, and mine say he's not to be trusted."
"And my gut says he's a godsend. With our heavy workload, we desperately needed another helping hand. He's a wonder in the lab, and he thinks outside the box. I like that in a scientist. Plus he's got a great tennis game. Not to mention the help his wife gives us acting as receptionist with no extra charge."
"That's another one that gives me the heebie jeebies. His wife - she doesn't even have a name! He just calls her 'Bride'. Also, she's very vague about her past, like she's hiding something. Like they're both hiding something."
"Dr. Freudjung, don't you also tell your patients not to look for trouble if there is none? I mean, what has he done? You've given me no real complaint except that he makes your hair stand on end. Perhaps the problem is yours."
"Who's the psychiatrist around here?!"
"I'm beginning to wonder, Dr. Freudjung."
She angrily glanced at her watch. "I would like to discuss this with you further but I have an appointment to keep. An appointment I'm not looking forward to."

"Suzy, I must be honest with you in saying that I don't believe you are ready to rejoin society. But in the end the judge of your case is the one who gets to call the shots. As of today you are released from the SimVille Institution of the Criminally Insane."
"At last, freedom! I'll be able to walk the streets with other people. Smell the scents of nature. Go where I want to go and not be told what I have to do day after day. Freedom!"
"Suzy, although I am technically no longer your doctor, I would still like to hear from you on a regular basis. Just to make sure you not killing anyone -- I mean, to make sure you're settling in okay."
"Oh, that would be nice, Dr. Freudjung. Maybe you could come over and I could cook you dinner!"
"Uh, mmm, maybe you could come over here and I could cook you dinner. (That way I would know there's nothing poisonous in the food.)"

While Dr. Freudjung was busy, Amore calls in the aforementioned Dr. Frankenstein into his office.

"Dr. Frankenstein, Mortimer Goth has offered to pay us a great deal of money if we do a DNA test on his daughter Cassandra without anyone else knowing it. We could really use the money to improve our practice."
"Indeed, I concur."
"Then perhaps you'll also agree that this little proceedure doesn't need to be discussed with Dr. Freudjung. She might think it was unethical or some other such big word."
"I consider this part of the client's doctor/patient confidentiality. What happens in this office stays in this office."
"The reason I wanted to talk to you is because you are so much better at this lab stuff than I am. I was wondering if you would mind doing the test."
"Why, no, I don't mind at all. I rather enjoy tinkering around with all those beakers and tubes."
"Good. I have a sample of her blood here."
"I'll get on it right away."
"Why don't I go fix us both a nice cup of hot tea? I think it's time for a break after the busy afternoon we've had."

It's at this moment that Satan decides to work his black magic...
