LISA MANY BEARS
Lisa is a proud member of the Siksika Nation. She lives life to the fullest and gives 200% to lifes adventures and all obstacles that come along with it. One of her true passions in life is her beadwork, reading and spending time with McKayla and her family. Lisa enjoys beading for herself and McKayla, (with the help of her mother). When 16 & 17 years of age she started singing back up for uncle Hermans drum group, the Siksika Ramblers. Traveling from powwows to powwows, meeting new and interesting people. They have all moved on to different groups now, and so did she.  The few years to follow she hardly sang, but still continued to travel and dance her pretty little heart out. Then she met Rod (kind of crazy how we met) and then she met Shanda. Rod invited her to her very first Round dance and now thanks to Rod, Shanda and Eya-Hey Nakoda, Lisa had found her new passion in life, SINGING. Lisa started singing with Eya-Hey Nakoda in the summer of 2000 & loves every minute of it.  She counts down the days for when they tell her that we get to go to another round dance or powwow just so she can sing and dance.  In the summer of 2003, she began slowly to sing with the High Noon Singers of Hobbema Alberta. So now when Eya-Hey Nakoda, are not at a powwow, she will sing with High Noon or who ever asks her to sing.

Live Life to the fullest and dance like no one is watching you. See you all on the greatest trail of all times, the Powwow Trail!!
