Bored to death of blading in the same old stadiums?  Then try these ideas to make your battles more exciting.Warning some of these stadiums may damage your blade so be careful. These set ups are designed for use with the vortex stadium but will also work with stadiums of a similar shape. May not work with Japanese stadiums.

Sand Bowl: Simply find some sand and fill up the penalty pockets with it then fill the centre with sand but not too much or your blade will not spin properly. When your blade comes in contact with the sand it should create a mini sand tornado. If you are feeling lucky then you can put a few small stones in the stadium.

Water Bowl: Use a stadium beystadium 2 (recommended). Fill the penalty pockets with water and the centre of the stadium as well. Your blade will whip up the water and this should create a water shield.

Ice Bowl: Fill the stadium with water as mentioned above and then freeze it. You can do this by leaving your stadium out side over night. This will create a slippery surface and if smooth enough will increase your blades endurance.

Dust Bowl: Fill the penalty pockets with stones and place a few in the stadium (as big as you like depends how confident you are.) Then get some earth/soil and place it in the stadium (not two much). This will create a tough environment for blades so only the best bladers will survive.

Grease Bowl: Get your hands on some grease (lithium grease for cycles should do) but read the label on the grease for the warnings first before use. Then put it in the centre of the stadium and forget about the penalty pockets. This will great a slippery stadium and will also increase endurance.3

Obstacle Dish: Just get a normal stadium and fill it with whatever obstacles you want.

Here are some example pictures

Seaside Dome: Put your beystadium on water it should float (unless it is full of holes). the best  place to do this us a large bath tub or some sort of large container. Be careful wnen you launch your blade because the stadium might be moving (its a long way to the bottom). When the blades are in the stadium the stadium should move or you can make it move manualy. Use a blade that isn't easily thrown into the air otherwise your blade will come out wet and rusty.

Metal stadium: The best thing for a metal stadium is just a simple wok, flat bedded ones are better because they give your blade more room to spin, but using this stadium will cause your blade to deteriorate quicker.

100% flatbed stadium: Having a stadium with no slopes or curves will cause your blade to move in a completely different way. All you need to do is find something that is flat and has sides this could be a metal tray or a plastic box lid for example. If you can create a blade that can do well in this stadium then you will have a big advantage over your opponent.

P pockets stadium: Just get a stadium that has penalty pockets and fill them with something e.g. stones or water. The most popular ting to fill the pockets with is sand because this will make it hard for a blade to get out of the pocket if it falls in. you could combine all three of the above and have one with water, one with sand and one with stones.

Wood stadium: Use a smooth piece of wood for the base and any kind for the walls. Use this stadium to punish those who use attack types because if there blade hits of the wooden wall at speed it will do a bit or a lot of damage to there blade and slow it down giving you the advantage. I would recommend using an endurance type or a defence type.

Custom stadium: Make your own stadium, it could incorporate some or all of the things mention above or something you have thought of. Think of your blade when you are making your stadium, you want to create a stadium that will emphasise your blades strengths. You should also think of you opponents when making your stadium you should design it to emphasise you opponents weakness to. Materials that can be used are wood, cardboard, metal or if you are confident you could even use one of your Hasbro/Takara stadiums.

Marble stadium: You need exactly 20 marbles (it works best with 20). This is different from just using stones as marbles are round and a lot smoother. But a BIG warning, this is could be quite dangerous so please perform outside and take appropriate percausion eg. saftey glasses.
