Beyblade Structure
There are different Beyblade
Types:
� Attack Type tops
roam freely about stadium, stalking their prey.
� Combination Type tops are
steady performers.
� Endurance Type tops are built to outlast an
opponent.
� Defense Type tops stay in one place to ward off
attacks.
Each Beyblade has four main parts to determine how it will do battle in the Beystadium. You can mix and match elements from various types of blades to get the best one for you:
� The Attack
Ring determines how you will attack your opponent can also be used to
defend.
� The Weight Disk determines balance, a lot of its endurance and also contributes to the majority of the blades weight.
� The Spin Gear determines spin direction of your blade. In
newer models it can have other features and some blades have special gears see
Spin gears and Special gears pages for more info.
� The Blade Base determines movement patterns throughout the
Beystadium. It also contributes to the rest of the endurance that your blade
will have. In later models the blades the base can also have a mini attack ring
on it and support parts.
The bit chip
� Some people may include this as a fifth main part others may not. For those of you that don't this is just to add decoration to your blade and maybe to add a bit of weight if you are really desperate. Others believe that the bit chip contains a sacred spirit called a bit beast that can be called upon to give their blade great powers.
