Bed of Lights Death Match
FJ: Moses…we’re going to see a bloody war between these two men.
MD: Their new rivalry has already caught the attention of the fans…and they are pumped up ready for action.
::The lights begin to strobe, as 'Dragula' by Rob Zombie begins to play. The fans buzz with anticipation, as the Xtreme Rebel, Matt Scheffert makes his way out onto the stage. After a quick scan of the crowd, Matt sprints down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans along the way. He leaps onto the apron, flips over the ropes, and lands squarely in the ring. Matt taunts the crowd by slowly pulling up the bottom of his shirt to reveal his abs. He looks around once again, pulls his shirt off, and tosses it into the crowd.::
FJ: And there’s the Xtreme Rebel…still playing up to the crowd. Doesn’t he ever get tired of that?
MD: Why would he? He appreciates the fans…and they appreciate him.
::The lights dim and a red aura comes over the arena. Red strobe lights begin flickering wildly around the entrance, enveloping the smoke with a blood red feel. The familiar beats of ‘Until It Sleeps’ by Metallica begins dwindling on the PA. As the lines "So Tear Me Open" begin pouring from the system, Josh Sutton steps out onto the ramp, a bottle of Smirnoff Triple Black Ice in one hand, a Singapore Cane in the other, and a Marlboro Red hanging from his lips. He begins trudging down the ramp, climbing the stairs and taking his time in entering the squared circle. Sutton finishes off the beer and tosses it out to ringside. He climbs through the ropes and stands in the corner, smoking his cigarette, while eyeing the referee.::
FJ: And there is our current US champion…looking as focused as always.
MD: He has to be. The Rebel is looking for anyway to knock him off and get that title.
DING DING DING
::Matt and Josh circle each other slowly, neither wanting to make the first mistake. They lock up, and Sutton takes the advantage first with a hammerlock, and then a headlock bringing Scheffert to the mat. Matt with a head scissors to break the hold. Sutton kips up and they circle each other again.::
MD: This is going to be one of the most dangerous matches that these men have ever participated in.
FJ: Thank you Captain obvious.
::Matt goes to tie up, but Sutton ducks and lashes out with some quick shin kicks to the back of Matt’s left knee. Scheffert goes down to one knee and Sutton backs off to the corner. He runs in for the shining wizard, but Matt ducks it at the last second. Both men get to their feet and Matt sends Josh across the ring and follows him over, nailing a clothesline that takes both men over the top. They land just inches from one of the beds of light tubes. The crowd starts to buzz and many near the two fallen combatants are on their feet as well.::
MD: Those two almost went through the light tubes already.
FJ: This is just sick Moses. This whole match is just sick and twisted.
MD: And this is only the second of seven matches Flaps. Imagine what else we might see this summer.
FJ: I can’t. It makes me nauseous just thinking about it.
::Matt grabs a light tube and raises it to hit Sutton, but he stops. Matt lowers the glass and tells the fans to back off. He gets drilled with a light by Sutton, driving glass into his bare flesh. Matt slowly sinks to his knees as Josh comes up from behind him with a glass shard in his hand. He pulls Scheffert’s head backwards by the hair and digs the glass into his forehead. The ref tells Sutton to bring the action back to the ring. He lets Matt slump down onto the barricade.::
MD: Scheffert is busted wide open. The blood is just spewing out of his forehead.
FJ: I think that playing to the fans right there cost Scheffert his slim chance to win the match.
::Sutton walks around the ring and grabs one of the 2x4 beds and carefully slides it into the ring. Matt rolls under the ropes at the same time. Sutton kicks at Scheffert’s head before picking him up to his feet. Josh gets behind him and latches on a modified full nelson.::
MD: He’s going for that inverted face drop into the bed of glass!
FJ: Oh no.
::The two men lurch backwards then down towards the light tubes, but Matt twists and turns the maneuver into a DDT. They land hard and glass goes flying everywhere. Neither man moves, and the referee looks confused as far as what he should do now. Slowly a bloody Rebel rolls over for the cover.::

MD: Sutton kicks out!
FJ: Never count the leader of Controlling Factor out of a match Moses.
MD: I guess not. That move would have ended the match on any less of a man.
::Sutton’s face is a crimson mask, as is Matt’s face and back. Matt slowly slides out of the ring, obviously in great pain. He grabs yet another one of the beds and pushes it into the ring. Scheffert climbs back in and gets a flying light tube from Sutton, followed up with a DDT that just misses the bed of glass. Sutton digs deep and delivers a brainbuster to the Rebel. He grabs two tubes and lays them across Matt’s chest, then starts to climb the turnbuckle. Matt meets him at the top and the two exchange punches. Josh leaps over Matt and grabs his thighs on the way down for a top rope sunset flip.::

FJ: Scheffert kicks out?! How did he do that?
MD: He is determined to extend his one match advantage.
::Sutton pulls Matt to his feet only to started kicking away at his body and face. Matt falls back into the ropes and his arms become tangled in the ropes. Sutton sees this and laughs. He kicks away at Matt’s calves causing him to fall deeper into the trap of the ropes. Josh grabs a light tube out f the bed and holds it in the air he lines Scheffert up and takes several half speed swings stopping mere inches from Matt’s head. He finally looks ready to smash in Scheffert’s skull. He takes a step forward and raises the weapon high. Matt kicks his legs up in desperation, grabbing Sutton around the neck, and flipping his opponent and himself to the ground below. They land in yet another bed of light tubes.::
MD: Sweet Caroline! Sutton just landed on that bald head of his and cut it open on those light tubes.
FJ: Enough with the jokes already. Sutton could be seriously hurt. Scheffert could be dead for all I care, but someone get help for Sutton.
::Matt slowly gets up on the apron, but Sutton has yet to move. Matt mounts the top turnbuckle and salutes the crowd. They cheer as he turns his back on Sutton. He leaps of for the Xtreme Impact and lands solely on the glass shards and wooden box.::
MD: Scheffert misses the Phoenix Splash for what I believe is the first time ever.
FJ: Cover him Sutton!
::Josh grabs Matt and pulls him to feet. He lifts the Rebel up with a pump handle tombstone dropping Matt’s head into the box of glass.::
FJ: Red Current Crush!!

3!!!
MD: That’s it! Sutton wins…and in a dramatic and bloody fashion.
FJ: Quick match…bloody. You’ve got to love this stuff.
MD: Makes me wonder what the match between Mad Max and Keyser Soze will be like.
FJ: And don’t forget…Sutton and Scheffert will do this again next week at Betrayal…and you know they will up the ante.
::‘Until it Sleeps’ blasts through the arena speakers, as a bloody Sutton gets to his feet. The ref goes to raise his arm, but he stumbles into the ropes, and rolls out to the floor. As he makes his way towards the ramp, the camera focuses in on the Rebel, who is still lying flat on his back. The scene fades.::
