So Dean(Jeremys Boss) called me Thursday afternoon and said that He had a position available for me if I wanted it(he kind of dramatically dragged it out a bit, something like Gary drags things out) He said that it was an accounts rep position..IN SHERMAN!!!!  I said Yeah, Im interested.  He went on to tell me that things were changing and that he was pretty confident that I could do the job.he said If fact, I know that you would be great at it or we wouldnt be having this conversation  So I said ok!  He told me not to say anything to anybody at car-mart in Longview and not to call Sherman, itd be public information in about 3 hours.  So for three hours I was just beamin.  See I was wanting some kind of promotion or new job or something, and I wanted to stay in Sherman, so now I got both.  Yesterday was my first day on the phones.  Oh, an accounts rep is a collector.  But they say that the moment you are a collector your not doing your job, the job of an accounts rep is to represent the company and the customer equally, finding the middle ground.  Too much in either direction and your not being fair to the other.  Blah blah blah.  But in application I call people and ask them for money and ask them why they havent paid yet.  I think Ill like it better, I dont have to pressure them for anything, I ask for the money, if they cant pay I convince them to come into the office to sign a paper and make a payment arrangement and try and council them and figure out what both of us the company and the customer can do to get there account current and keep it that way.  I now make 7.50 an hr instead of 6.50 an hr, and if I make standard, and Jeremy doesnt re-finance too many accounts in a months time, and if we sell enough cars, and if Jeremy doesnt take too many trade ins, and we meet all those requirements in a month.  Then I get a bonus, we all doWhich isnt too hard as long as were doing our job.  Bonus is estimated to be like $300 a month or something.  Thatd work for me.

Other than work Im still staying in Durant with Dad.  Its going pretty good here.  There is still something I dont understand about Dad.  Cindy and Annette project one Dad, and I know and see a totally different Dad.  I dont know if Dad is just hiding all that from me, or if Cindy and Annette are taking curcumstancial things and turning them into more or what.  Either way, Im getting along with him fine.  And we totally agree on the money thing.  I purposed before I got here that I wanted to pay $150 to dad a month, I ran some numbers, guessed how much he paid in rent and bills and I guessed that half was $150.  When we talked about it the first night I let him talk, and he said he wasnt worried about splitted everything down the middle cause we both have our own cell phone and this and that.  When he said it he was saying it as a suggestionHe said I thought you could pay about $150 a month.  And I said, thats what I was thinking too.  So thats what it is.  He pays 200 in rent and about 100 in bills.  His place is kind of a chump place, but it works.  We dont have a stove, or washer and dryer. But we got everything else we need. And Ive still got yall little burner.

I went and saw your Mom and terry last night.  She was really happy to see me and terry always gives me a hug.  She was exstatic about me getting my promotion.  Everytime I go over there I hang around for about an hour to an hour and a half.  We talk about yall and I tell them about whats going on with me and we talk about America and Iraq and Thailand cause she always has CNN on in that first room and those three things are always on the T.V.  We talk about yall and how much we miss you.  Hey, I saw your pictures on the internet.  John looks really cool!!  I miss Josiah like nothing else.
