| Gazing at a Star Walking alone On a road so far Stopping shortly To gaze at a star Reminded of one Who tamed my heart. She thought of me As if I were that star Then she left me longing Now Ive come this far Ive learned a lot on this lonely road Ive learned to cherish What I call my own Ive learned not to rush Into things untold And Ive learned the sweet sorrow Of being all alone I regret many things That Ive done in my past But Ive also come to know Its not the least, and it wont be the last We went through many joys, Many trails, many pains But in the end They all seemed like selfish little games Id played them once And again all the same But one things for sure Ill never forget that name So sweet, so pure Was her name on my lips. But I never looked in her eyes Or gave her the first kiss We whispered sweet I love Us And blew kisses in the air Do I finally get to meet her Now that its all over? NO, I dont dare!! We had plans for the future Our whole lives we would share But then she changed her mind And now neither of us care But now here I stand At the beginning or at the end Just wanting her once again as a friend And gazing at the star That never really began.
