Story 4

A repast revisited
submitted 11/5/97
As mentioned before, Extraboards take 6th graders to Camp Palomar. We also like to swap stories. One Extraboard told of a student who, uh, uh... how can we put this. Did not want his breakfast anymore? Yeah. That will work.
The chosen (but not voluntarily) spot was right behind the driver's seat. Now this is understandable. The kids are excited. The bus is in motion. The roads up in the mountains are very curvy. Some kids are prone to, uh, spewing. That was why the student was in the front of the bus.
But this happened on the Freeway, Interstate 15, just 5 miles from the school. The Extraboard pulled off at the next ramp, found a safe place to park and cleaned up the, uh, ur... used breakfast. (Yeah, thats the ticket.) The trip continued.
The other Extraboard said he could beat that. His uh, incident happened before the bus even left the school!
Remember these kids do get a little excited.
True Story!
We swear!
