B.E.N. no Asu or Ben's Tomorrow, is a multi-path visual novel adventure game which will be released by our group, Extended Blast Productions. After months of laborious writing and various revisions, volume 1 in text format is finally finished. Our talented artist is now working on getting the necessary artworks ready for our coder. The artwork will be done in a semi-realistic style to break new grounds and avoid the usual generic anime designs. We will be using Ren'Py for this project although we originally intended to use ONscrpiter. However, after much deliberation, the team decided that Ren'Py would be much more flexible and advantageous for our game.

Unlike most OELVN, Ben no Asu promises to be epic in length with the finished product being 9 volumes in length at an estimated 250 pages of text for each volume. The game will be rated 18+ for the graphic description of violence and copulation during the "Unlock" scenes. We wil of course, include an option to skip through the erotic material in consideration of the different tastes of our target audience.

In the world of B.E.N. Emotions are by law, supressed with a drug called Digirhythm. Drei Mallard, a rebellious 17 year old, is alone in his belief in "freedom of feelings." A concept that he developed after reading a novel given to him by a man known only as Scythe.

A chance encounter with a Half-Asian woman named Kokoro Ai, whom he saves from being ravaged by three men who had succumbed to Cathartic Syndrome - a side-effect of using Digirhythm wherein the user loses all conscious control of his/her emotions resulting in animalistic behavior, gets Drei entangled in a secret revolutionary plot that might be more than he bargained for.

Drei Mallard Headstrong, willful and slightly arrogant are words that best describe Drei. During his one-time meeting with Scythe, he actually received the "Key of Salvation" - a viral infection which allows the human body to combat the effects of Digirhythm to a certain extent.

Kokoro Ai Kokoro is one of the "Jewels of B.E.N." A group of seven women with unique blood compositions personally hand-picked by Scythe. By performing an "Unlock" with one who has the "Key of Salvation," their blood develops a unique antibody which can be used to create a vaccine that grants one total resistance to the effects of Digirhythm. All the seven jewels must be unlocked with the Key of Salvation and their blood samples collected in order to complete the vaccine.

Scythe Little is known about the man named Scythe except that he is a genius of alchemy and that he detests the B.E.N. Wise-Man system of governance. He is a master of silent rebellion and has been secretly plotting against the system for years. He sees a part of himself in Drei, which led him to manipulate Drei into receiving the "Key of Salvation."
