 Welcoming Speech

Drs. H. Amri Tanduklangi, Dipl.TEFL,M.LIS

(Head of English Extension Program)

Congratulation!

I hope that you all have chosen the right higher institution in order to meet your expectations. This is not just a promise but the dream that comes true.

Within this program, you will have six dedicated management staff and more than fifteen tenure faculty members that will help you complete your program in a shorter time and a better quality. They are blended from distinguished domestic and overseas graduates. All of them are willing to share their knowledge and experiences with you during your study for three or four years to come.

We will provide you with more than just the standard services provided by the domestic state higher education institutions. Overall administrative duties are carried out with recent technologies. Progress of every single student is easily monitored and the data is instantly available as needed by an individual student, parents, academic supervisors or university authorities. All kinds of information related to the program such as curriculum, syllabus, student interest activities, important and relevant links, faculty members and their works or interests are available and accessible in our web.

We are also trying to provide you with a comfortable but productive teaching and learning environment. The classrooms are expected to be more interactive because they are   provided with LCD panels and other computer aided language learning (CALL). At that moment, our team is working under a small project that makes it possible all lecturers’ materials are available, accessible   and freely downloaded to meet the needs of our students. To maintain our quality, we require every lecturer uses English as medium of instructions in or out of the classrooms.  In all parts of our services, our management applies the Total Quality Management (TQM) to ensure that every piece of work is executed according to the standards, procedures, and manuals of higher education management. Our monitoring instrument is to be made effectively to ensure that every student finds our services satisfactorily.
