What it Boils Down To:
It is possible to request to have your original scripts returned to the school from the examination boards (AQA or OCR), for you to look at.

Please note that this costs 3.50 per paper.
You need to contact the EXAMINATIONS OFFICER - Mr Phil Owen for enquiries about this proceedure.

Note: The school must ask your permission before using your scripts in lessons as samples of answers - you may request that they do not use them at all,
The centre is legally bound to comply with this request.

Having been through the process last summer with my GCSE results I know the tendancy to let the world pass you by, and then suddenly 2 weeks before the results day nerves kick in - it happens.

There is nothing you can do about your script once it has been handed in, so don't worry. Have a bit of faith in your self, and your ability.

What ever you do, DONT walk out of an exam, and ask your mates what they wrote for question X, cos that will worry you, just incase you didn't quite write that. Also, don't go flicking through revision guides afterwards, NO-ONE gets perfect marks, and you'll only get frustrated.

For all the worries you might have about the results day, it is over surprisingly quickly -- a member of staff finds your slip(s), and hands them over to you. Chances are that if you've done really well, they will have read it already and will congratulate you.
It's over in an instant...

Mr Wright was one of the first to congratulate me on my results, the A* in Geog did help that, but members of staff will be there. Mr Heywood will have his mark book out ticking off scores and comparing to previous years, Maths will be doing some number crunching exercise -- probably working out the best performance for the  Awards Night in November.

All your mates are there, going through the same thing, but it's best to walk in to a corner first and check your results, before seeing your mates - just to have a moment of privacy - they're YOUR results afterall.
