Background

My name is Sean Watts and I was born in the beautiful Caribbean Island of Trinidad where I grew up within a nuclear family environment comprising my mother, father and older brother. Although I do not place much emphasis on it, I was born in early June which makes me a Gemini.

I enjoyed a happy childhood in the middle class community of Diamond Vale, which was home to individuals such as Wendy Fitzwilliam, Miss Universe 1998, and Shaka Hislop, professional soccer player. In addition, while attending Mucurapo Boys R.C. School in St. James; I spent a great amount of time at my maternal grandmothers house in the afternoons while waiting for my father to take my brother and me home.

At the end of my primary school career, I succeeded in attaining a place at Fatima College, one of the more prestigious high schools in Trinidad. I spent seven year at this illustrious institution. Some notable alumni of Fatima are Brian Lara, cricketer, Nicholas Fuller, Ph.d , Dewan Andrews Ph.d pursuant and Dion Charles, Mba pursuant at Ohio State.

After graduating from Fatima, I entered the field of work as a teaching assistant at Diamond Vale Government Primary School. From here I progressed to Valsayn Teachers College where underwent two years of formal training and eventually earned a teachers diploma. At the end of this two year period, I was placed at La Puerta Government Primary School in the community of La Puerta.

It was at this time in my life that I decided it was time for a change. This step led me to Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina where I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Currently, I am pursing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio.
