SCHOOL (DJ M.M SCHOOL)
The system consists of three
tiers, relating to the English system of a prepatory, secondary and higher
secondary schools.
There are two schools
located in Passu. The schools are project of Aga Khan Education Service (IED).
There is no government school and college. The language of teaching is English but some
subjects are taught in Urdu. Subjects taught up to the age of twelve are;
English, Maths, General Science, Social Studies, Urdu and Islamic Studies.
The school building consists
of thirteen rooms. 9 classrooms, a staffroom, a hall, two toilets and a store
room. There are over 100 pupils both male and female. The school has seven and
eight teachers and a principle who
are qualified and trained. The school is strongly supported by parents and the
Passu Education Committee.
