Date & Time: Saturday 12/29/2007 Where: UZA Instruction: 1.5 hour (ground) Dual Instruction with Derek Alter Maybe God doesn�t want me to fly: So it�s raining today. No flying once again. I start to think, maybe this is a sign, maybe God doesn�t want me to fly. More ground instruction to follow. We review the forces of flight, maneuvering flight, and Derek teaches me about stalls and spins. Stalls are something I begin to dread. How will it feel? How well will I recover? We also go over the three axes of flight. This is all very interesting and I�m learning quite a bit about how the plane should react to my inputs. Maybe this weather thing isn�t too bad. OK, yes it is. Conclusion: So my DVD course isn�t in yet. I guess I�ll just keep reading this week, until my next lesson. Maybe it won�t be raining this weekend. We�ll see. |
