Dreams of Life
In my dreams
I make love to you
A thousand times...
Under crimson sunsets
And a silvery moon
On bleak sun-baked desert sands
Or drenched with ferns
In soft, warm summer rains
Exhausted, we melt together
On snow-capped mountains
The white ice all around us
Heated by a raging fire
And love...
With passionate kisses
Under shimmering waterfalls
And dark, cool caverns of
Volcanic ash
Cuddled together
Behind curtains
In narrow white bunks
We rumble in passenger trains,
to exciting new locations.
Nervously wrapped together
In the darkness, under blankets
Across airline seats
Over oceans.
In tents and cabins
And tree hurts
And finely decorated
Rococo suites.
On soft carpets
And warm earth
And cool stone
Of ancient castles and cathedrals.
Around us we hear
The soft whisper
Of exotic languages
Or the rustle of animals,
Or water, or wind,
Or silence.
Enwrapped in each other
Our souls converse
Their own private,
Eternal wisdom...
A thousand ways...

I wrote this some time ago for no particular reason.  I add it now due to a new light in things, or rather, a rekindeled one.
