Lines Make Boxes
An interesting insight made by a friend of mine.  Some might call it profound.  And it is.  To take a one-dimensional figure into the third dimension without at least pausing at dimension in between disrupts the linear flow of, well, lines.  Lines make rectangles.  Rectangles make boxes.  Thus, lines make boxes.  No one will contest the logic behind that assertion.

Following that logic, one would suppose that curves make circles and circles make spheres.  But that is a false statement.

Lines make boxes, but lines also make spheres.

This is the power of infinity.
