| What is infinity squared? Can an infinite number be squared? Consider the following basic mathematic principles. Any number divided by One equals Itself. Any number divided by Itself equals One. Any number divided by Infinity equals Zero. Any number divided by Zero equals Infinity. Infinity x Infinity = Infinity. Zero x Zero = Zero. One x One = One. Infinity divided by Infinity equals an indeterminate value... Zero divided by Zero also equals an indeterminate value... One divided by One equals One. Why doesn't Infinity / Infinity = One? Infinity is not a number, it is a limit. It is a value used to describe the ever increasing number. Why doesn't Zero / Zero = One? Zero is not a number, it is a placeholder. It is a value used to describe the absence of a number. But if Infinity x Infinity = Infinity why doesn't Infinity / Infinity = Infinity?
