Words of Wisdom
The English Language is already difficult enough as it is.  Please do not further complicate it by misusing its words.
Self.  A noun or pronoun which refers to an entity with respect of complete individuality. 
-less. An adjective or suffix which means to be without.
Selfless.  To be without self.

So why is the concept of being selfless so highly valued?  If one has no self, what does one have?
Esperar.  The Spanish verb which means to wait and simultaneously means to hope. Call me an optimist, but perhaps waiting and hoping are not different actions.
It's easy to be good at something.  Being good suggests that you have mastered a skill.  But to be great at something requires that you surpass simple mastery, it demands that you advance the skill itself.  It's easy to be good.  But to be great is an honor.
