1) 11 FILM MAKERS EACH PUT A TWO-
SENTENCE SUBJECT INTO A HAT.

2) THEY EACH DRAW FROM THE HAT.

3) THEY HAVE 24 HOURS FROM THE MOMENT THEY DRAW TO CONCEIVE,SHOOT,EDIT, SCREEN AND DESTROY THEIR FILM

4) THE FILMS ARE SCREENED at MELKWEG CINEMA, Amsterdam

5) THE FILMS ARE DESTROYED, NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN

Translocal collaboration between Scot Cotterell ( in Hobart) and Nancy Mauro-Flude (in Amsterdam) (acting as one film maker)__

The process: Nancy Draws subject, emails scot, they both shoot footage and stills, Scot uploads his media to Nancy's FTP server, Nancy edits, screens and destroys film...Scot imagines he is there...

The subject we drew:
Corroding from the inside out, like stomach acid slowly eating away the stomach again

The subject we put in:
something about phoenix arising triumphantly from it's ashes

The film: it's gone........physically..
digitally though, you can see it
here
