INTRODUCTION
This collection has evolved from The Yanbu Whine Guide, which was originally conceived / hatched / born in 1984, in Yanbu, (Saudi Arabia), by a bunch of fresh, bright eyed, British 'tiffy' contractors, (Instrument Artificers), by heck but we've changed! I imagine that if the original perpetrators had come to the attention of the authorities, there would have been a slight incarceration at the very least. The idea of freedom of speech hasn't gained much of a foothold in Saudi Arabia. (or freedom of anything else!!)
I was one of the co-founders of the magazine, and since then I have always been on the lookout for suitable material for the next bigger and better edition.
The Whine Guide has seen many metamorphosis's, from the original Yanbu Whine Guide, to the Covenas Capers (Columbia), Saudi Whine Guide (Safaniya), Middle East Whine Guide (Qatar), to its present title. The clean bits have been used in Hampshire Humour (freebie for Hampshire hospitals), The Heliopolis Hash Rag, Cairo BCA, and presumably more.
As far as I know, none of the articles are copyrighted, or at least, not very much.
