Of course you’re all wondering: why is he
going to buy the Xbox and not the Gamecube or PS2? Well ok maybe
you are not wondering but I’m still gonna tell ya. Well first of
all I’m not going to buy the PS2 cause I already have it WHAHAHA.
Well ok actually it’s not mine but my little brother’s but I
am allowed to play it. And the PS2 was not really an option for me
cause the specs of the Gamecube and the Xbox where so much better
that I had no doubt at all when I chose not to buy the PS2. Well
ok maybe one time when I saw GT3, but that really was the only
time I doubted. But luckily my brother was kind enough to buy a
PS2 so I could play my dear GT.
But now my real dilemma: to choose between the Gamecube and the
Xbox. This really was a tough choice cause I was Nintendo fan from
the beginning. I’ve had almost every Nintendo console. From the
NES to the gameboy pocket to the N64. It started all when the N64
disappointed me a little bit. There where a few good games like
Zelda, Mario and extreme G but it didn’t really have my kind of
games. The PS was much better for me with more games in my genre
and the possibility to get free games (Hey I’m still Dutch).
Then I heard Microsoft was busy on a console and it took my
interest right away cause I knew they would try to also rule the
console gaming business and to do that they had to come with a
great console. So I started following the Xbox and came to the
conclusion that it fitted better to my interest then the Gamecube.
Of course I will miss a few games like Eternal Darkness but
luckily I have some kind friends who will let me play their
Gamecube so I can enjoy both sides of the party.
