This game has been described as the 'ultimate collectors edition' of Tony Hawk's. This is because of the way the game is set up. You see, this is more of a compelation than a sequel. But, don't let that put you off. The game is shaping up to be the first game to achieve the fabled EXODUS X-BOX GAME OF DISTINCTION award. You may have thought that having the old Tony Hawk's tracks would detract from the gameplay. I will tell you this now. It is doubtfull that you have ever uttered a more foolish statement. Imagine going round all the original Tony Hawk's tracks, like Warehouse, Roswell New Mexico, Windy City Slam and Burnside, but with X-Box quality graphics, plus the entire trick and character roster from Tony Hawk's 2. Starting to feel interested? And so you should! This game reeks of Tony Hawk. That is a good thing. Although veterans of the games, such as myself, are likely to have difficulty adjusting to the game because of the new layout of the X-Box controller. This is a minor problem though, we all have to adjust to a new controller when we buy a console don't we? Its just a fact of life. Another fact of life is that this game is simply breathtaking. Previously flat green blocks of 'grass' now spring to life. And in early screenshots I have seen, each blade of grass appears to be seperatley rendered. In a word, WOW! I won't say too much about the incredible motion blur that activates when the special metre is full, because it is one of those rare things in gaming that you simply have to experience for yourself. We here at Exodus X-Box take our hats off to the guys at Neversoft and Activision for bringing one of the most addictive and fun games of all time to the mighty X-Box. We simply can not wait for this game to be released! Screenshots soon!
