Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding
Amped, you've got the speed, but have you got the fame?
Introduction:
Do you get Amped when you hear the term, "Freshly packed snow." Then you better get Amped for Microsoft's: "Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding" being released this autumn for the X Box. Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding or Amped has been dubbed, "the Tony Hawk of snowboarding", not for the insane tricks, but for its gameplay.
Amp's game play is not your traditional get to the bottom of the hill first snowboard
racer, instead you compete for fame. When you win a race you earn peoples respect and praise, the more fame you gain the more you win, but as you gain your fame other boarders take notice.
Graphics:
Graphically speaking, Amped features the most realistic snow in a videogame to date! And with the Box's HardDrive. Some of real-world locations in Amped included: Utah's Brighton,
Vermont's Stratton
California's Snow Summit.
These locations have perfect snow conditions and jaw-dropping built-for- the 'Box graphics.
Music:
The music in Amped is very varied, it travels from rock to indie. But if you become board with the music included in Amped, you can rip some mp3's and upload them to the 'Box, set-up a playlist, and your snowboarding down California's Snow Summit to Limp Bizkits "My Way".
Release:
Amped is slated for release along side the 'Box at launch. But one can only wonder will Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding, be the only
one in the Amped series? Amped: Freestyle surfing anyone??
