Exodus blends pop and rock with a twist of country and folk to produce an eclectic mix of contemporary Christian music. Exodus features songs that appeal to listeners of all ages -- from popular praise and worship selections such as Open the Eyes of My Heart and Awesome God to more modern songs from artists like Bebo Norman, FFH and NewsBoys as well as some original selection.

The band formed in September of 2005, but its members have been serving God's people in various Church music ministries and youth music ministries for the last 2 decades. Sensing a call to "go and make disciples of all nations", the members of Exodus decided to spread their message beyond the 4 walls of the church building to reach a more diverse audience. "In church you are almost preaching to the choir, literally. We look forward to opportunities to play for audiences where some listeners might not normally hear Jesus' message of hope, love and redemption."

Exodus is ideal entertainment for church picnics, coffee houses, parties, youth group events, bizarres, retreats or any function where energetic, prayerful and inspiring Christ-centered music is the order of the day!

The members of Exodus are:
Lori Ramirez - Lead Vocals - Lori is the newest and youngest member of Exodus. She attended Carver Center for Arts and Technology in Towson, Maryland, where she earned a high school degree with a concentration in vocal music. Lori joined the Life Teen band at Holy Family in Randallstown when she was a sophomore in high school. She sang with the Life Teen band until her freshman year of college and then became a Core Team member. Lori is also a lead singer at the Spanish mass at Sacred Heart Parish in Glyndon, Maryland. Lori resides in Baltimore, Maryland.

Brian Kiesel - Guitar, Vocals - Brian has been playing music for 35 years. He enjoys playing piano, guitar, writing and recording. Brian has produced several CD of original contemporary Christian music.

Kevin Rittie - Guitar - Kevin has played many styles of music over the past 25 years including Broadway, country, rock, pop and of course Christian music in such varied bands as show choirs, pit bands, rock groups and local Christian folk bands. Kevin played in the Lifeteen band with Lori and Brian at Holy Family before Exodus. Kevin lives in Reisterstown, Maryland with his wife and 3 children.

Shawn Burnett - Drums - Shawn lives in Westminster Maryland where he is a member of St. John parish. Shawn has played in several secular bands since the early 80s prior to making Exodus his new home. Shawn and his wife have 2 children.

Steve Evangelista - Bass - Steve introduced himself to the band in September of 2005 after a concert. He said he knew a bass player who would like to join our group. Steve started playing bass with Exodus 3 days later. Steve is a young adult minister at Sacred Heart parish in Glyndon Maryland where he and his wife participate in several music ministries. Steve has been playing music for 17 years and also teaches guitar.
