The MP5/40A2 is a remarkable weapon only to be replaced by it's pretecessor the UMP. Still a great weapon such as the MP5 is, this model it self brings the larger caliber ammunition to the table with it's .40 S&W cartridge as it fires. Still with ALL the great features of a MP5, it is bumped up to a better and more stoping-power cartridge as the .40 S&W is. It's rate of fire slower then the 9mm MP5, but more increased recoil with a magazine capcity of 30 rounds.To tell the difference between 9mm and .40 S&W magazines is the 9mm mag is rounded like a banana and the .40 S&W is straight. |

What can i say about this special model MP5 varient such as the MP5 Navy has become. Designed for Special Forces needs in mind, H&K bring the MP5A5 to a new standard of precsion with this Model. With a Navy trigger group and a threaded muzzle for an adaptable silencer it still brings the same great low recoil round, the 9mm Parabellum cartridge to use. With it's new "water technology" It can complete a maritime operation conducted by SEALs from under water and function immediately after rising to the surface. With this new feature in mind for SEALs, no wonder they have grown found to this remarkable weapon. A great weapon for CQB with it's retractable stock makes it a great improvisation weapon for surgical shooting. Holds a 30 round magazine and is capable of adapting a Sure Fire foregrip light for night time operations, and can be equiped with a special Infared light which can only be visiable under either night vision or infared it self. Can adapt a surgically mounted laser inside the forward facing part of the cocking tube. Great item to have with a foregrip light. Scope adaptable as well, but i see no reason to use one myself, just my own operator standards at work i suppose. But that's the MP5 Navy for you, once again a great weapon indeed. |

Just a personal favorite setup of a MP5A4 with Sure Fire fore-grip light. Just a note, this specific MP5 in the picture is equiped with a 0-1-3 Trigger group, which comes in selcet-fire modes of. Safe, Semi, and Three-round burst. The MP5A4 is widely used by S.W.A.T. Teams worldwide. |

This is a MP5-PDW, the PDW stands for Personal Defense Weapon. This model is equiped with a larger 30-round box magazine instead of the over popular 15-round box magazine. This is a great personal weapon if not a great compact automatic weapon for CQB tactics. |
