In 1991, a group of five teenagers shook the Malaysian music scene
with their hit "Untukmu Ibu." Despite them being young
schoolboys, their debut album sold a whopping 230,000 copies,
securing the band Exists as one of the young bands to watch out for
back then. Now in their early 20's, the quartet -- bassist Musa
Radhi, guitarist Azhrul Bin Nasir, vocalist Mohd. Rohaizad Bin Mohd.
Lazim and drummer Shaharudin Bin Saniman -- is no longer a teenage
band but a group of professional, young and talented musicians who
are very serious about their career in music.
After their debut album, the band went on to
release a string of successful albums, and among them, is a Best
Of Exists compilation that earned the band a platinum record.
Emphasizing on the fusion of Brit-Pop and "Free Pop," the
band released their first studio album in three years named Ada
in 2002.
