"Well, I got a boil on my inner thigh, close to were I sit down. Ive never really had a boil, so I didnt really kno what to expect. One night at work I started feeling really sick, and my boil started to hurt really bad. When I got home I dropped my pants to look at it, and I nearly fainted when I saw it. It had swollen to the size of a football, literally. I'm not kidding it was that huge. I then laid down, and told Drak to look at it. She was stunned. She told me to get dressed cause she was taking me to the emergency room. I told her I just wanted to sleep, until she took my temperature. It was 102. Well, in the E.R. my temp was 102.1, and I really started to feel horrible. The doctor gave me 4 shots of novacaine in the boil, and I still felt it when he made the incision.l He made a 1 1/2 inch incision, and they stuffed a foot of gauze into it. He said in three days pull it out, or come back here and I will do it. Well, in three days it was still about the size of a baseball, so I left the gauze in a few days extra. The swelling is gone now, but the incision still hasnt healed. It's just a gaping wound now. It currently has butterfly stitches on it to see if that will help."Mashekle
