laughs best

_____________________________________

debris in their wake

a wall of sonic storm

everything needs to break

it's a matter of norm

or sluggishly reponding

to any type of oft repeated work request

you'd think after while there'd be bonding

but hostility's often engendered, at best

and the rivalry and yelling

the constant friction

is always way too telling

of truths behind the fiction

kinetic frenetic whirling and jumping

laughing, screaming and singing

poking, shoving and bumping

yelling, taunting and swinging

a house full of monkeys on double dome acid

and to think it all came to this

where life is raucous, never too placid

from one night, it all started, a steamy backseat kiss

and still i want the best

for this cloud of chaos is mine

college, fast cars, big houses, all the rest

whatever, for them, that will seem to them fine

most of all i wish on them abundant proclivity

post haste, lots of seeds of their own planted and sown

which i can spoil with stealthy alacrity

so that i may have a few laughs of my own.
