The Story Of

EXIGENT

Exigent Started off as “Indium” back in 2000 (Fred saw farmclub.com and seen another band had the same name) but before that Fred and Slim would be jammin other peoples songs and soon enough wrote there own songs. When they couldn’t find a singer, they said da hell wit it, and Fred went out and bought a mic and a stand.  Slim met up with a drummer named Tyson, and tried to get something on the go, which failed due to the fact he moved away. Fred and Slim still jammed on a regular basis. Then they found a bass player named Josh, but kicked him out shortly after cause of undisclosed reasons (the dude was kinda gay and weird)

In 2001 slim met up with someone in school who played drums, so they jammed and he shortly joined the group. Two months after that “the real deal, Neil the streal, wigger, danny, scrub, merve... (and about a few more names after that) joined the band because he loved music so much (Fred and slim told em to buy a bass or they would hop on em).

One night when Neil had a party, another band Kronocide was up there to, one of there lead singers, Oz heard exigent play 2 of there songs and loved em, in early 2002, Gary a.k.a. Oz Mo Fo joined Ex. But there were no more jams after that night, Ryan (the drummer) never jammed, so we asked Evan (from kron) to join our band, which he accepted (we told em we would buy him a new drum kit if he would join our band, which we did buy for him by the way)

So in May 2002 EX was complete. Jamming every chance they got, they started working some songs like “Reaper”, “Your Reflection” and eventually wrote others like “With Me”, “Struggle”, “Letter to a Friend” and more. Everyone who has heard Exigent has loved their music, and I can quote someone on this “they are better than linkin park”

With the “Raw Power” of OZ on the mic and his Deep lyrics, with Fencers melody and screams that can make y’er head explode, combined with the intensity of Slims heavy and soulful riffs, mixed with Smev’s hard hitting, amazing drum beets, and Wigs low deep sound of his 5 sting makes a Helluva Band!!
