Exeter College Darts

St Peter's

Peter�s are basically just a random first division team, although they do have one good player (see below). Fortunately they tend to lose to us reasonably regularly, and we do play them far too often�three times this season for starters.

Matches

We gave them a bit of a game this year, apparently. 10-2 at their place. Stevenson took as many darts in his singles as we won legs in the match, and you don�t see that too often (click here to read about it). But more important was our 7-5 win over them in the last game of the previous season. Fads took out a crucial 70 outshot to win the match and the league in a tense game, when a draw would have cost us the title.

Players

Phil �the Power� Taylor
Not at any cost to be confused with Phil �the real Dick� from Queen�s, as Phil is (a) better at darts, and (b) a good bloke. Still, at the risk of going on about it, he�s no match for Stevenson (etc, etc.). To be fair, Peter�s tail starts at two, so when �Lazy� leaves, they are in trouble.

Phil Atkins
Wanker who always wears the same ice hockey shirt, with number 67 on it, I think, though nobody can quite remember.
