| The multi-ply guitarist of Em's. Before forming the highly unplanned Em's, Jack was best known for his MP father and all-surpassing laziness, as well as getting suspended for getting his hair cut too short. The formation of Em's led to him making a noticeable effort to rebel, including not sitting at a desk during English and consistently 'forgetting' to get a haircut, an act which, ironically, almost led to him being suspended again. Technically, Jack is not only the band's lead guitarist but also its timetabler, which would explain why there hasn't been a single practice since the legendary SiTE gig at St. Eddie's in September 2003, an event which saw Em's exploding onto the comedy rock scene exactly after the Darkness' arrival, another example of Jack's lack of timetabling. His catchphrase is quite often misquoted in the media as "meh"; it is in fact "maeh". |
