Puppy Love! |
These are puppies or dogs that my immediate family or some of my close relatives have owned in the past and I have loved. In the future I also hope to have some photos of my stuffed puppy babies that I sleep with at home and at Judson. One of them is named Frisky because he has a BIG black nose and I tend to find his head or entire body fallen behind the head of my mattress at home. My sister Mary, who gave him to me, saw me find him there the first time and laughed, saying, "He's digging", so I later named him Frisky. The other is named Bruno because I simply was just looking at him one time and suddenly the name Bruno came to my my mind and it seemed PERFECT for him; I don't know why. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos, and I know some of you who visit this page will have known and likely been EXTREMELY close to the deceased dogs whose photos I'm going to post; PLEASE don't be upset! Remember, I was EXTREMELY close to these dogs too; if I could bring them back to life, I would, although I don't know how I'd take care of them. Anyway, enjoy the photos, and remember that this page is my way of showing my love for puppies and dogs - at least for now. |

The photo below is of my family's late dog Brindle. She was very calm, which may have been partly due to being deaf, although I don't know. She died in either 1996 or 1998; I cannot remember which at the moment. The person holding her is my best friend, whom you can read about under the link about my best friend on the index page. |

The following photos are of my family's late dog Harkle, named after my father's imaginary friend Mr. Harkle. Harkle is the black labrador mix, and the other dog in some of the photos is the stray dog that came up and became his friend, so my family named him Buddy. |

For those of you who don't know the meaning of the expression "puppy love", click here to read about it. I labeled this page "Puppy Love! Literally!!!" so my family and friends would know it was a page about my love for puppies and dogs, and that it DIDN'T have ANYTHING to do with the meaning of the phrase. To avoid any further confusion, I have chosen to add a link so *I* won't give you the wrong meaning. |
